Atina held training for the members of Local Network for prevention and support to victims of human trafficking in Vranje on theme „Mobilization of resources in the local community”

In Vranje, NGO Atina held a one-day training for the members of Local Network for prevention and support to victims of human trafficking, which is formed within the project “Local communities in the fight against human trafficking”, and the theme was “Mobilization of resources in the local community”. This is just one of the acitivites that is a part of EU Progress project that they have got. 

The aim of the training is to raise the capacity of Local Network for prevention and support to victims of human trafficking, as well as to develop an action plan for the coming period. Necessary resources for further work and development of the Network were mapped at the training, as well as new actors from the local community whom they wish to additionally motivate to join the work of the Network, and who have been identified as significant for the subject itself. Plans to mobilize resources from the local were also made, with the aim to create some preventive actions, and ensure direct assistance to victims of human trafficking from the territory of Vranje. 

The training was attended by representatives of Local Network for the prevention and protection of victims of human trafficking (representatives of the police unit in Vranje, Center for Social Work, Red Cross, Youth Office, city administration, magistrate court, Nexus Vranje, Vranje Health Center, Shelter).
